® today announced the appointment of Paul Brashier as Chief Financial Officer.
Synapse’s CEO and President, Wade Patterson, noted that “Paul brings 18 years of broad-based experience in finance, accounting, investing and overall strategic management to Synapse. He has served in various leadership roles in the financial services industry and is a welcome addition to our team as we build the necessary infrastructure to facilitate Synapse’s rapid growth.”
Prior to joining Synapse, Mr. Brashier, a Huntsville resident, was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Hickory Venture Group, a private investment firm. He served as Vice President, Finance at Regions Financial serving in Strategic Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Investor Relations. Brashier also served as a Director in Corporate Finance at CVS Caremark and Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at ProAssurance, Inc. He began his career with Ernst & Young. Brashier, a CPA, holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his Master in Business Administration at the University of Alabama’s Manderson Graduate School.
