NEW YORK, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Pali Capital, Inc., an independent global financial services firm, announced today that two more senior professionals have joined the growing High Yield Sales and Trading Team: Jim Hindenach from Summit Securities and Tom Tuchscher from Jefferies & Co. The additions bring the total number of professionals in Pali's high yield department to 16 people.
"In a little over a year our business has gone from a standing-start to a robust high yield/distressed/loan effort that has achieved critical mass with regard to trading flow on a daily basis," said Chuck Howard, Managing Director and Head of High Yield at Pali. "With the addition of both Jim and Tom to our sales force, we continue to rapidly expand our high yield bond and leverage loan footprint and our presence with our clients."
Jim Hindenach was a director in high yield sales at Summit Securities. Prior to Summit, he served as a managing director at BMO Capital Markets where he was a top sales producer focused on bonds, bank debt and private placements. Before BMO, Mr. Hindenach was an executive director in the high yield group at CIBC Oppenheimer and an assistant vice president at CS First Boston. Mr. Hindenach earned an undergraduate degree in economics from Lafayette College and his MBA from New York University.
Tom Tuchscher was a vice president in the high yield group as well as the finance division at Jefferies & Co. where he focused on the sales and trading of the firm's underwritten bank loans, typically middle market transactions. Mr. Tuchscher joined Jefferies in 1996 and from 2001 through 2004, he worked on secondary sales and sourcing of distressed bank loans in the firm's high yield group. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California in Los Angeles.
