TOLEDO, Ohio, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Owens Corning (NYSE: OC), a leading global producer of residential and commercial building materials, glass fiber reinforcements and engineered materials for composite systems, today announced that David Johns, the company's senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO), has been named to the CIO Hall of Fame. Johns is one of six executives chosen for the prestigious award that honors leadership in the CIO community and contributions to the advancement of the profession.

"The men and women inducted into our Hall of Fame since 1997 represent the most outstanding examples of CIOs worldwide," said Maryfran Johnson, editor-in-chief of CIO magazine.
