Northern Trust Appoints Managing Director in Connecticut

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northern Trust announced today it has appointed Joanne C. Stringer, CFA, as Managing Director of its Personal Financial Services business in Connecticut. She will oversee regional wealth management services including investment management, financial planning, fiduciary services and private banking for individuals and institutions.

Stringer previously spent two years in London as the Nordic region's head of business development for Northern Trust's Corporate and Institutional Services group. During her 11 years with the company, she has served as a product manager for Northern Trust's Hedge Fund of Funds offering, a portfolio manager for private clients, and a wealth strategist and regional marketing director for Personal Financial Services in New York.
