SEATTLE, July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc.
(NYSE: JWN), a leading fashion specialty retailer, announced plans to open a
28,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack at Beverly Connection in Los Angeles in fall
2009.

Beverly Connection, which is owned by Vornado Realty Trust, is a two
level, 330,750 square foot, regional urban center located at the edge of
Beverly Hills and West Hollywood in Los Angeles.
Nordstrom Rack will be located on the first floor of Beverly Connection,
near the north side of the center. Nordstrom Rack at Beverly Connection will
be the fifth Rack location in the greater Los Angeles area. Other Los Angeles
area Rack locations include Howard Hughes Entertainment Center in Los Angeles,
Glendale Fashion Center in Glendale, Calif., Topanga in Woodland Hills,
Calif., and City Place in Long Beach, Calif. The company also serves Los
Angeles area customers with six Nordstrom full-line stores.
Nordstrom Rack is the company's off-price retail division offering savings
of 30 to 70 percent on apparel and accessories for women, men and children,
including one of the most extensive collections of name-brand shoes available.
Nordstrom Rack merchandise is made up of products from Nordstrom full-line
stores and the company's online store at Nordstrom.com, as well as special
purchase items.
