NEW YORK - (Business Wire) Nielsen Business Media and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences today announced they have established a strategic alliance around the Academys Daytime Emmy Awards Show. Under the multi-year agreement, Nielsen Business Media will manage all sponsorship sales and brand development, and will oversee operations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and its affiliated properties. The announcement was made today by Peter Price, President of the Academy, and Sabrina Crow, Senior Vice President of Nielsen Business Media.

This collaboration is a great opportunity to leverage the considerable strengths and resources of both organizations, said Crow. Together, we will capitalize on the iconic Daytime Emmy brand, expanding its reach to new audiences and deepening its presence in current markets. Nielsen Business Medias audience in the marketing, media and entertainment space is a perfect psychographic match for the Daytime Emmy Awards audience, so we will also be able to bring our advertising partners an unmatched opportunity to connect with our shared audience in multiple channels.

This partnership takes advantage of the complementary expertise of two premier organizations, said Price. We will undoubtedly raise the bar on our ability to provide an even more exciting and engaging event for our audiences, and the Academy looks forward to working with Nielsen to extend the Daytime Emmy Awards brand presence to new avenues and across multiple platforms.
