LA VERNE, CA -- 07/22/08 -- Nextar, a designer and marketer of bold and new consumer electronic products with mass appeal, brings pizzazz to the world of picture frames for children's photos. Its new Castle and Carriage digital frames with LCD displays offer parents, grandparents, godparents, or anyone who has a special youngster in their life a fun way of showing off their digital photographs. The 3.5" TFT LCD display is 'framed' by either a storybook castle fit for a beautiful princess or charming prince, or a colorful pumpkin carriage ready to deliver hours of visual enjoyment.

"Our two new Nextar digital photo frames are fun, innovative ways to display digital photographs," commented Eddy Zheng, Nextar founder. "They support all of the most popular memory card types that are on the market today. With the Nextar Castle and Carriage frames, proud parents and other relatives or friends can view and keep on display tens or even hundreds of digital photos of their young loved ones without ever needing to pay for prints."

Both of these lightweight, portable digital frames feature a 3.5" 262k color TFT QVGA flat-panel display with a resolution of 320x240. Bright, smooth images can be clearly seen, even in bright sunshine. The units have a flash media slot for SD, MMC or Memory Stick cards of up to 2GB capacity. They support most types of JPEG files. Each offers a variety of display features, including a slideshow mode.

Power is supplied to each by the included A/C adaptor cord. They come complete with an instruction manual, warranty registration card, and product registration card.

Pricing and Availability

The N3-504-CST castle frame is 9.4" x 7.8" x 0.8" (WxHxD). The N3-504-CRG carriage frame is 7.9" x 6.1" x 0.8" (WxHxD). They will be available in late July at select Kmart stores and www.Kmart.com for $49.99 each.
