next generation of its integrated search solution, Solcara SolSearch.
SolSearch is proving increasingly popular for businesses and organisations
who want to search large internal and external digital information quickly
with maximum relevance. SolSearch has been so successful, that version 2.5
has now been developed and will be available on 12th May.
Due to be released this May, new features reflect Solcara's
commitment to user experience with PDA accessibility, portable bookmarks and
a more streamlined interface.
A new feature - the brand new administration toolkit - enhances
navigation and adds a neat 'drag and drop' function that allows
administrators to manage sources, organising, creating and copying them with
ease. Access can now be adapted so end users see only pertinent information;
access is secure, remote and there is also a self-registration module.
Solcara has developed the audit functionality of SolSearch to
deliver a variety of statistics. Knowledge Management professionals are now
able to identify which digital information is most popular and thus justify
the value of subscription sources. Being able to identify slow or unavailable
sources will help ensure high performance also.
