WASHINGTON, March 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey(R) Circus is coming to Washington, D.C., and to mark the return, the stars of the show will march on Capitol Hill. This year's Pachyderm Parade promises to be the most festive to date. The elephants will be joined by their fellow four-legged performers, including Andalusian horses. This wouldn't be Washington if the Greatest Show on Earth's(R) resident zedonk (donkey and zebra hybrid) didn't make a special appearance.
WHEN: Monday, March 19, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. ** **IMPORTANT NOTE** - Due to unpredictable train schedules, starting time and route are subject to change. Please call the animal walk hotline for continuous updates. (The Parade departs the train yard at approximately 12:30 so it should arrive at Union Station around 1:00.) WHERE: The Route for the animal walk is as follows: -- 32nd & D Streets, SE to Minnesota Avenue to East Capitol Street, NE. -- Cross the Whitney Young Memorial Bridge. -- Continue on East Capitol to 5th Street, NE to Massachusetts Ave, NE to Columbus Circle, NW in front of Union Station. -- Columbus Circle, NW to E Street, NW. -- 6th Street to G Street, NW to the loading dock of the Verizon Center.
