SAN FRANCISCO and CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingenio, Inc., the pioneer and leading provider of Pay Per Call(R) advertising, and JumpTap, Inc. the leading white label mobile search and advertising solutions provider, today announced a partnership that will feature Ingenio Pay Per Call listings within JumpTap's mobile search system.
Ingenio Pay Per Call advertisements appear in response to consumer queries on devices that leverage JumpTap's carrier-branded offering. Leading carriers, including Alltel, use JumpTap's mobile search solution to drive revenue while providing a comprehensive mobile search experience for consumers. The Pay Per Call advertiser only pays when a consumer initiates a call to the business from their mobile phone, thus providing measurable advertising-driven results.
"Mobile search is the best way for advertisers to reach consumers who are looking for goods and services, and Pay Per Call makes the connection at the exact moment people are ready to buy," said Jorey Ramer, vice president of corporate development. "By tapping into Ingenio's substantial Pay Per Call advertiser base and technology, we can offer our carrier customers, and ultimately mobile subscribers, compelling content that will drive commerce on mobile platforms."
Industry analyst firm the Kelsey Group estimates the market for Pay Per Call advertising will more than double each year for the next five years, with revenues reaching $3.7 billion by 2010. Because phone call leads enable businesses to directly engage with prospective customers, they convert to sales more often, which put phone calls at a substantially higher dollar amount than clicks. On Ingenio's system, the average advertiser bid per call is currently between $8-$10.
"For mobile data services to take off, the utility and value to the consumer has to be significant. Pay Per Call makes it simple for businesses like restaurants, taxi services and hotels to participate in mobile search in order to meet consumer demand, while creating tangible revenue opportunities for mobile operators," said Marc Barach, chief marketing officer, Ingenio. "We are excited to partner with JumpTap and extend our network's top-tier mobile distribution even further."
JumpTap's search and advertising solutions combine its industry leading carrier-branded mobile search engine with a range of advertising vehicles that drive revenue for advertisers and mobile operators. In addition to pay per click and display ads, Pay Per Call leverages the real power of mobile search by connecting advertisers with users when they are on the move and have a high intent to purchase. JumpTap helps carriers' subscribers find what they are looking for and, with Ingenio Pay Per Call, guides them directly to relevant advertised products or services.
Ingenio Pay Per Call listings are available within JumpTap's mobile search and advertising solutions today.
