The Home Depot Returns as the Presenting Sponsor of the NFL Experience: Pro Football's Interactive Theme Park

NEW YORK, Jan. 10  /PRNewswire/ -- The National Football League will once again partner with The Home Depot(R) to bring pro football's interactive theme park spanning nearly 850,000 square feet and featuring more than 50 interactive games and attractions to Arizona.  Super Bowl XLII marks The Home Depot's second year as the presenting sponsor of The NFL Experience.
The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot takes place Jan. 26-27, 31 and Feb. 1-2, 2008, adjacent to the University of Phoenix Stadium, in Glendale, Ariz. Sunday, Feb. 3 is open to Super Bowl XLII ticket holders only. This is the second time in the event's 17-year history that it will visit Arizona.
The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot is the largest continuous event annually preceding the Super Bowl, and will provide fans with the ultimate NFL try-out. Designed to provide family fun and entertainment for everyone, The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot will allow Arizona residents and Super Bowl visitors an opportunity to participate in the electrifying atmosphere of Super Bowl XLII whether they have a ticket to the game or not.

The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer, will build an interactive home, showcasing its know-how and expertise in the home improvement industry. The home will feature innovative products like Glidden Team Colors paint, as well as various do-it-yourself home improvement projects for consumers.
The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot also includes player appearances by as many as 50 NFL stars, past and present, who will sign free autographs throughout The Experience and at The Topps Super Bowl XLII Card Show. The ultimate trading card show consists of 30,000 square feet of displays from leading manufacturers, including rare collectibles. Nearly 10,000 free autographs will be given away over the six-day period.
Fans also can participate in a variety of interactive activities where they may test their skills in running, passing, kicking and punting.
Tickets to The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot are now on sale and may be purchased by calling (866) TIX-4NFL (849-4635), and online at http://www.superbowl.com/. Tickets are $17.50 for adults and $12.50 for children 12 and under, and permit entry for a particular day and time. Tickets also will be available at the gate during operating days and hours, beginning Jan. 26. Tickets purchased by phone, online, and at the gate are subject to a TicketMaster service charge. Sunday, Feb. 3 is open to Super Bowl XLII ticket holders only. All activities at The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot are included in the price of admission. Fans may stay in the theme park as long as they like, but re-entry is not permitted.
Proceeds from ticket sales to The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot will be donated by the National Football League to the NFL/Youth Education Town, a multi-faceted educational and recreation facility designed to improve the academic and physical fitness as well as job-related skills of at-risk youth. Established in 1993, YET Centers are the living legacies created by the NFL for Super Bowl host cities.
The NFL Experience Built By The Home Depot takes place in conjunction with Super Bowl XLII, which will be held on Sunday, Feb. 3, at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
