EL SEGUNDO, CA -- 01/07/08 -- StupidVideos, com (www.stupidvideos.com), the premier destination for funny videos, and the Jaeter Corporation (www.newnuma.com), the official website of the world's most popular e-lebrity, Gary Bolsma "the Numa Numa Guy," today announced the launch of the second annual Worldwide Numa Contest. Three cash prizes will be awarded including a $10,000 first prize, $7,500 second prize and $2,500 third prize. Users can enter the contest by visiting http://www.stupidvideos.com/numa/index.php and submitting a video of themselves by February 4th dancing to Numa song writer, Dan Balan's, latest hit single, "Crazy Loop (Mm Ma Ma)." Winners will be announced March 4th.

Last year's contest, which ran on YouTube, garnered over one-thousand entries and more than 29,850,000 minutes were spent watching contest videos worldwide. "For our second annual contest we felt that StupidVideos would make a better partner. StupidVideos has an extremely active community of users who regularly produce fun webcam videos just like Numa Numa," said James Egge, CEO of Jaeter Corporation. StupidVideos.com currently hosts over 200 user submitted clips of fans doing their version of the famous Numa Numa sing along, many of which can be seen on the contest website. "We expect a great deal of participation in this contest. Numa Numa is a legacy in online video and especially among our demographic of teens and young adults," said Bryon DiGianfilippo, General Manager and Executive Producer of StupidVideos.com. "Plus, the new Dan Balan song is extremely catchy and I think it will be hard to resist making a video for a shot at $10,000!"

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges, including Balan, DiGianfilippo and Egge, who will base their selections on a combination of criteria including the number of video views the submission gets, its rating, as well as the creativity used, quality of execution and production, and finally, acting ability of participants.
