WHAT: News Conference to recap pro-troop organization, Move America Forward's national holiday pro-troop tour, "Honoring Our Heroes at the Holidays" that collected over 150,000 Christmas and holiday cards for U.S. troops in Iraq & Afghanistan. The cross-country tour stopped for pro-troop rallies that collected cards in 40 cities across America from November 25th - December 16th.
The 100,000th card was signed by Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife Lynne Cheney in Washington, D.C. earlier this week.
We will have stacks of cards collected for media visuals -- these cards will be hand-delivered to our troops in Iraq at Christmas by a delegation from Move America Forward.
