The winners of the 2007 edition of the Website of the Year awards -UK's
most important people's choice award for websites- are revealed today on
http://www.websiteoftheyear.co.uk.
This year, 320 websites were nominated over 18 categories. More than
550.000 votes were cast between November 1 and December 10.
Zylom.co.uk was chosen UK's "Best Website of 2007" because of its
content, navigation and design. Wayn.com was chosen by the public as UK's
"Most popular website of 2007" with more than 15.000 votes.
In each category there are two prizes to win: The title 'Best Website of
the Year' is provided to the website with the highest average score on
content, navigation and design. The title 'Most Popular Website' is provided
to the website with the highest number of votes.
