HOUSTON, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Inc. (NOCC) Board of Directors announced plans to increase its presence by establishing regional offices to better support its network of 80 local chapters.
Over the next several months, administrative and management responsibilities will be transitioning to an initial five regional headquarters located in Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Pittsburgh and the San Francisco Bay area.
"Due in part to its many individual and corporate donors, NOCC has grown exponentially in the last decade to become the nation's leading ovarian cancer patient education organization," says Dr. Suzy Lockwood-Rayermann, Chair of NOCC's Governing Board of Directors. "Moving to a regional structure allows us to better serve local communities and to offer greater support to patients, families and the medical community."
