WASHINGTON, DC -- 11/07/07 --
CHADD Conference --
Skoach(TM), the Web's only on-the-go time
and task management solution powerful enough to manage ADD, ADHD, and the
most hectic of lives, will debut today at the National Conference of
Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (
CHADD). Developed by the internationally
renowned ADD expert who wrote the best-selling "ADD-friendly Ways to
Organize Your Life,"
Kathleen
Nadeau, Ph.D. and a development team led by seasoned applications
architect, Alex Turetsky, Skoach is a powerful, insightful time-management
application.
"In the U.S. alone, there are over 10 million adults struggling with ADD.
Their struggles are estimated to account for a $77 billion loss of household income annually,"
said Skoach Chairman and Founder Kathleen Nadeau, Ph.D. "Because the
problem is so widespread, Alex and I decided to create a web-based
management system to reach the broadest audience possible. Skoach trains
users to live, think, and work more efficiently and to avoid
over-commitment and disorganization."
Skoach wraps features like automated scheduling, phone-in task and
appointment adding, SMS and email reminders, agenda building, and guided
project planning into one centralized and intuitive system. Skoach can even
be synchronized with popular business tools like Microsoft Outlook to
integrate existing and shared schedules and tasks. Skoach has been tested
by beta users, known as "Skoachers," since spring of 2007.
"I am floored by how useful Skoach has been to me," said beta Skoacher
Daniel Schutzsmith, editor and publisher of Graphic Define Magazine. "I
have been more productive and I'm in a better mood because of it."
Customizable Skoach Features Include:
Tasks on the Fly -- With nothing more than a mobile phone, Skoachers can
call-in to add items to their task lists and schedules or receive a text
message containing their daily schedule.
Auto-Scheduling -- Automatically schedules tasks and appointments on a task
map according to priority and deadlines.
On-the-go Reminders -- Skoach sends a text message or email task reminder
to reach users wherever they may be.
Project Manager -- Users are prompted to create a cohesive plan for
completing projects through a series of targeted questions.
Task Shifter -- Automatically reschedules to compensate for added or moved
tasks or for time estimate revisions.
Notes Feature -- Skoachers can link real-time notes to their schedules for
time-stamped meeting minutes.
Agenda Tasks -- Users can create meeting agendas enabled with the ability
to time-stamp action items as they are checked off.
"As an ADD-challenged adult, I fully understand the hardships of a world
cluttered with task lists, planners, to-dos and post-its," said Skoach CEO
and Co-Founder Alex Turetsky. "Before I started skoaching, successfully
completing my day-to-day tasks was a real burden. That's why after an
initial learning curve, users can't imagine life without Skoach."
Skoach, found at www.skoach.com, currently operates on Internet Explorer 7,
Firefox, and Camino and will support Internet Explorer 6 in the coming
weeks. For more information on the Web's only time management solution
powerful enough for today's ADD world, visit Skoach's founders at Booth 901

During the conference, Skoach founder Kathleen Nadeau will be inducted to
the CHADD Hall of Fame for her decades of work teaching ADD management
skills and strategies.
