ATLANTA, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- GoalPost(TM), the strategic Labor Management System (LMS) solution developed over more than two decades by Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), announced today that it will sponsor an educational videocast series about successful workforce performance management. The videocasts will outline practical ways for viewers to drive down labor costs and improve productivity, quality, throughput, and performance in their supply chain operations.
"Companies with large, labor-intensive supply chain operations often spend millions of dollars automating their facilities and information systems without giving much thought to the physical work their associates still have to do," says Steve Hopper, KSA Senior Manager and GoalPost(TM) Business Development Leader. "Viewers of these videocasts will learn how to progress from a 'production culture' to a 'performance culture' by streamlining, measuring, and managing labor over time to continuously improve overall workforce performance."
Supply Chain Digest and The Supply Chain Television Channel will deliver the videocasts in four half-hour, online broadcasts:

-- Part 1: Getting Real Results from Engineered Labor Standards - November 13, 2007 -- Part 2: The Role of LMS Software in a Performance Culture - December 5, 2007 -- Part 3: Enhancing Workforce Performance with Incentive Systems - January 10, 2008 -- Part 4: Ensuring a Successful Performance Management Program with Feedback and Continuous Improvement - February 5, 2008
Each videocast will feature a different subject matter expert from KSA. Viewers can access all broadcasts online at 11:30 EST, 10:30 CST, 9:30 MST, and 8:30 PST by registering at: http://www.thesctvchannel.com/Videocast_Labor_Management_Series1.php.
According to Dan Gilmore, President and Editor-in-Chief of Supply Chain Digest, "Today, workforce performance management is one of the most exciting opportunities to reduce costs and improve accuracy and consistency in the supply chain. Companies that adopt a performance culture and effectively implement high-quality LMS software are achieving impressive results. This videocast series will provide insight and information that will help viewers understand the opportunities, key decision criteria, and critical success factors."
