MIAMI, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fourth consecutive year, Sobre Ruedas will be hosting its annual awards ceremony to honor the best of the automotive industry. The Awards, sponsored by ESPN Deportes Radio, will take place on November 9, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the 37th Annual South Florida International Auto Show, to be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The ceremony, to be attended by industry winners and press alike, will be held at the Cadillac booth.
2007 nominees were made by a special panel, consisting of respected journalists representing the automotive industry and the Hispanic community. "This year, more than ever, we recognize the depth of new trends and alternatives in the auto industry and how the Hispanic consumer identifies with them," said Jaime Florez, Publisher.
Criteria standards for nomination included, but were not limited to: vehicle in market on or before the last day of 2007, proven standards of quality, good value for the money, and popularity among U.S. Hispanics. The fourteen 2007 Sobre Ruedas Awards categories include:
