Tidal Software, a leading provider of
application scheduling and performance management software, today announced
its results for the first quarter of fiscal 2008, ending September 30,
2007. Total revenue increased 32% year over year for the first quarter,
continuing the company's strong growth.
The company was profitable and continued to be cash flow positive for the
seventeenth consecutive quarter, which are in line with the company's plan.
New customers drove over half of the new license revenue for the quarter,
highlighting the company's drive to expand its market. The company's
integrated solutions for automation across the data center continued to
provide strong differentiation for its offerings.

Highlights of the quarter included further adoption of Tidal's application
performance management products for both SOA and ERP applications. New
customers for Tidal's management products for SAP Solutions included Home
Depot and Albany International while competitive wins for Tidal's
management products for SOA and Java included JPMorgan Chase.
During Q1, the company delivered new versions of application performance
management solutions for ERP. It introduced Tidal(TM) Horizon for
PeopleSoft, now offering users the ability to bring automation to the
performance management of PeopleSoft applications. The company also
announced the availability of the latest version of its Horizon for SAP
Solutions which extends the automation of performance management of SAP to
cover SAP NetWeaver as well as support for performance management of SAP on
DB2 and mainframe environments.
In separate news, the company announced today two new executive
appointments in its sales organization. Rick Miller is now VP of Sales for
North America. Christopher Kenessey, a seven-year veteran of Tidal, will
become VP of Sales for EMEA. The moves are part of Tidal's ongoing
investment in expanding the coverage and reach of its global sales
operations.
