WILMINGTON, DE and SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL -- 10/22/07 --
Perihelion Global
(PINKSHEETS: PHGI), a development company with interests in natural
resources, alternative energies, and advanced communications, today
announced that the company has selected Broadcast Electronics (BE) of
Quincy, Illinois, as one of the company's broadcast equipment suppliers for
Perihelion's communications division.
Perihelion will utilize the Broadcast Electronics series of AM transmitters
at the company's WTKN-Mississippi AM station. The company has previously
announced its intent to utilize new HD-Radio and AM Stereo technology for
its stations serving the southeastern US markets. The new BE transmitters
are capable of simultaneously generating both analog and digital radio
broadcast signals. Broadcast Electronics' components come from a company
with over 40 years of proven performance, stability, and innovation.
The company would also like to inform its shareholders that Perihelion has
made appropriations to have an on-site webcam installed at the Opp, Alabama
biodiesel refinery site. This will allow shareholders and the general
public to view the progress of the ongoing construction of the company's
first refinery. Along with regular updates released by the company over the
newswires, Perihelion believes the addition of the webcam will provide
further transparency of what is actually happening 'on the ground.' The
company expects the Opp, Alabama webcam to be operational later this week.
