Fitzpatrick, executive director of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) today thanked Senator Pete Domenici (New Mexico) for his long commitment to people with serious mental illnesses. The statement followed the senator's announcement of his intention to retire rather than seek re-election in 2008.
