SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Groxis, a leader in exploratory search and visualization, today announced that it has appointed Randall Marcinko as Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Mr. Marcinko brings to Groxis over 20 years of senior-level leadership, strategy and advisory experience in the information industry. As founder and CEO of MEI, a service organization specializing in the monetization of publishers' digital assets, Mr. Marcinko has designed and established content licensing strategy, executing deals on behalf of primary and secondary publishers with aggregators, syndicators, redistributors and specialty vendors within the information industry.
Prior to MEI, Mr. Marcinko founded Dynamic Information Corp., a full-service information brokerage, which was sold to EBSCO Industries, Inc. In 2002 and 2003 he held the position of President and COO of Nstein Technologies, Inc. Mr. Marcinko received a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Alberta and did graduate research in organic chemistry at Stanford University.

Mr. Marcinko is a frequent speaker in the information industry and has written for many industry publications.
