California Company Announces Partnership to Build Water Projects in the Middle East

EXETER, Calif., Aug. 30  /PRNewswire/ -- Waterman Industries, one of America's most respected suppliers of water treatment equipment, has formed an international alliance that allows the Exeter, Calif., -based operation to expand its products and services into the Middle East during a time of massive economic growth there.

Waterman now has an exclusive partnership with Bisan, Inc. of Toronto, Canada to represent Waterman slide gates, sluice gates, drainage gates and other well-established products for water and wastewater treatment in Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, (West Bank and Gaza), Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain and Yemen.

Bisan specializes in pumping, piping and engineering services while Waterman specializes in gates and valves used in water treatment.

Currently, companies bidding on and providing water treatment products in the Middle East tend to be local or European, said Rob Pokelwaldt, CEO of Waterman.
