InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture
between IBM and Ricoh, announces new high performance workgroup color laser
printers and MFPs designed to allow enterprises to improve productivity by
upgrading functionality at an affordable price. These products follow the
launch of the new company worldwide on June 4, 2007.
The workgroup printers/MFPs being announced are:
-- The InfoPrint Color 1767 - boasting high speeds to boost large
workgroup performance, bringing professional finishing options and time
savings to in-house teams.
-- The InfoPrint Color 1764 - with powerful speed, proven reliability,
and the ability to add vivid color on demand, the InfoPrint Color 1764
enables entire workgroups to generate dynamic documents. It has an M40 MFP
option which transforms it into a business productivity center with the
power to scan, copy, fax, and e-mail documents from one station.
-- InfoPrint Color 1764 MFP - an out-of-the-box productivity center, that
allows users to scan, copy, fax, and e-mail documents in vivid color via a
single intuitive interface, with copy-center level finishing options, such
as the StapleSmart finisher and media banner tray.
-- The InfoPrint Color 1754 Express - a high performance printer that
makes it easy to achieve a professional look and feel at an affordable
price.
These printers were designed with ease of use in mind with tools to enable
simple set up, such as an intuitive operator panel which helps guide users
through printing and maintenance tasks and easy front loading for
consumables.
All four printers benefit from faster print speeds -- up to a speedy 45
pages per minute (ppm)(1) letter/A4 size for monochrome with the InfoPrint
Color 1767 -- standard enterprise security features and Color Care
Technology. Customers can easily manage print costs by assigning print
permissions and allowing color only where it adds the highest value.
