SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Terra Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets: TSYI) (TSYI) is pleased to announce the first commercial shipment of custom coal today from the Wellington, Utah coal cleaning and blending facility. A modest 1800 ton shipment marked the beginning of commercial coal operations in the Intermountain West for the company. TSYI CEO Clayton Timothy stated, "This first custom coal shipment to our customers achieves a milestone in the evolution of our company. We fully expect to see growth in the custom blended coal market over the next year." Company President George Ford stated, "The first shipment of custom coal is a watershed event which will help lead the company to financial stability. This type of business forms the company backbone on which all our other projects can grow."
Additionally, TSYI has secured an option to contract refuse coal located at the Hiawatha Refuse Pile #1 for a term of three years or until all usable coal is extracted from the stockpile, whichever comes first.
