PHOENIX, AZ -- 07/23/07 -- NetPro Computing, Inc., a leading provider of distributed services management software, today announced the general availability of MissionControl 2.2, a significant upgrade to its total management solution for Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM).

Available today, NetPro's MissionControl 2.2 builds on its powerful ILM change auditing and monitoring capabilities to provide compatibility with ILM v1, as well as unprecedented visibility, deep business intelligence and comprehensive reporting on the ILM environment. With MissionControl 2.2, IT organizations can examine and dissect the interrelationships of ILM data for insight on past, current and potential future trends, including the impact of introducing new identity systems to ILM, changes to activity type over time, and capacity planning. MissionControl 2.2 features 10 new built-in reports including Management Agent Activity Trend, Management Agent Changes, Meta-Verse Audit and Performance Statistics, to name a few.

"By translating key data into comprehensive management reports, organizations can make more intelligent decisions on future identity and access strategies and tactics, as well as the related spending. This intelligence enables better decision making, better performance, and dramatically improved security and compliance," said Rod Simmons, Director of Product Management for NetPro. "NetPro's Directory Experts Conference Survey results show that ILM has reached 50% usage in our delegate population -- up 7% over last year. With the growing adoption of ILM, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants management is no longer an acceptable approach."

"Oxford Computer Group makes heavy use of trending and reporting data within ILM to focus our efforts, maintain operations and predict growth," said Bob Tucker, Director, Client Services for Oxford Computer Group (www.oxfordcomputergroup.com), a leading global identity and access management consulting firm and ILM specialists. "We are excited to see these needs met in the newest release of MissionControl from NetPro. These and other enhancements make this release a must have for every serious Identity Management Architect."
