The St. Louis-based promotional marketing
firm Titan Group, Inc. has recently announced plans to enter the world of
lead generation. Known for its direct advertising campaigns in the sports,
entertainment and hospitality industries, Titan Group, Inc. recognizes this
move as a natural extension of their core business.
"With Titan's experience of driving foot traffic and collecting market
research for top professional sports teams, national restaurants and
entertainment venues, we felt it would be a natural transition to be in
lead generation. Our ability to be proactive in finding new customers is
what separates us from other companies," said Nicole Tomasheski of Titan
Group, Inc.
Titan will initially target the home improvement sector. In 2006,
companies in the home improvement industry spent over 2 billion dollars on
lead generation. In 1998, 89.6% of all leads were generated through
telemarketing. Due to the "Do Not Call List" which went into effect 2005,
now only 54% of all leads are generated over the phone. Other areas under
consideration by Titan Group for lead generation include the insurance and
satellite television businesses.
"The marketing world has changed. Companies can no longer rely on sourcing
leads through telemarketing or direct mail. They now demand a more
personal approach to expand their customer base and we will provide this
service," Tomasheski said.
Titan Group expects revenues from the lead generation sector to rival its
direct promotions business within the next two years.
