NEW YORK, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Visitors to Verizon's booth at the 2nd annual International Kite Festival on June 30 can learn about Verizon's broadband and wireless products and services as well as get a free kite.
The one-day festival will offer a host of events such as a special dragon kite show where 300-foot dragon kites are launched into the sky; a stunt sky ballet show performed in rhythm with Asian music by professional kite teams; and a fighter kite competition organized by world-renowned kite flyers. There will be a mass ascension of kites where the People's Choice Award for Best Kite will be picked. Additionally, there will be a children's kite-making workshop as well as games and giveaways.
This family event is organized by Sing Tao Daily in partnership with the American Kitefliers Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public in the art, history, technology and practice of building and flying kites.
