Darby Dental
Supply, LLC, the largest all-telesales distributor of dental
merchandise, today agreed to acquire the telesales operation of New York
City-based Becker-Parkin Dental Supplies and Equipment.
According to Darby Dental Supply president Gary Rosenberg, "Less than a
year ago, we announced that we were refocusing our business to become the
leading telesales distributor in the dental
industry. Today's strategic acquisition puts that goal well within
sight."
Under the terms of the agreement, all Becker-Parkin telesales accounts will
become Darby customers and the 60-person Becker-Parkin telesales team will
be offered full-time positions at Darby telesales branches in Jericho, NY;
Tampa, FL; Pompano Beach, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Memphis, TN and East Lansing,
MI. Darby will retain Becker-Parkin's telesales branch offices in Akron, OH
and De Pere, WI to provide improved personalized service in the Midwest and
across multiple time zones.
