WASHINGTON, May 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa will hold media briefings in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. Hoffa is in China as a member of a Change to Win federation fact-finding delegation. The delegation will see first hand: the role of key U.S. employers that operate in China; the labor rights and working conditions of Chinese workers; and the work of Chinese trade unions.
The delegation will meet with Chinese union leaders, business executives, human rights activists and leaders of nongovernmental organizations. Hoffa will also tour the Shanghai Deep Water Port and facilities owned by Yellow Roadway and UPS, the two largest Teamster employers.
