El Bravo Tamale Co., was founded in 2006 by Matt Wernecke, with the mission to expand the world of Mexican cuisine and give health-conscious and food-loving consumers access to great tasting, organic food choices. The company was born out of deep rooted passion for Mexican culture -- Matt volunteered and worked for the non-profit organization Amigos de las Americas in Ecuador, attended university in Guadalajara and met his wife Josefina during one of his frequent research trips to Mexico.
