LOS ANGELES - (Business Wire) New York’s emerging singer-songwriter Joanna Mosca (www.joannamosca.com) continues enjoying superstar company in the Top Ten on the FMQB AC Chart this week. Her new hit single “Keep On Going” climbed up to #6, ahead of Miley Cyrus and Kelly Clarkson and just behind Colbie Callait and Taylor Swift. The anthem-like song is from Joanna’s forthcoming album of the same title due out in December, which is already generating buzz as she has secured a spot on Music Connection’s upcoming Hot 100 Unsigned Artists of 2009 issue. To promote the release of her hit single "Keep On Going," which is also the title of her debut album, Joanna will be making a repeat appearance and performance on Wednesday, December 16 at 4 p.m. at “Live at Best Buy." The major retailer’s live music series is located on the South East corner of 23rd Street and 6th Avenue in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood. Keep On Going features songs co-written with composers who have penned hits for numerous country artists, including Martina McBride and Rascal Flatts. She has also collaborated on the project with Grammy Award winning producers Tyrone Corbett and Robert Donsella, who have collectively worked with several American Idol artists signed to J Records and Wyclef Jean’s label. Corbett’s studio and touring credits also include R&B singer Will Downing, urban jazz greats Gerald Albright and Norman Brown, and folk legend Pete Seeger. Joanna also collaborated with established songwriter/producer Jeremy Spillman, who has worked with country star Trisha Yearwood among others, to record a few tracks in Nashville for the highly anticipated album.
