LUND, SWEDEN -- 05/13/08 --
Ludesi Corporation, developer of the
award-winning Ludesi Image Analysis Service for 2-dimensional
electrophoresis gels, today announced version 2.0 of its REDFIN Image and
Data Management software. The new version allows researchers to easily
share their Ludesi analyzed experiments with colleagues around the world
simply by clicking on a "share" button and entering the email address of
the sharing recipient. Researchers sharing a project may grant "read-only"
or "read/write" access to their experiments, and projects can be un-shared
at any time. And since Ludesi's REDFIN software is free and downloadable,
the sharing recipient doesn't even have to be a Ludesi customer to be able
to use the software and participate in the experiment.
"As Alphalyse is a protein analysis service provider, we deal with clients
with different needs and we always want to share the Ludesi analysis
results with them, and among our internal staff involved in the project,"
said Dr. Ejvind Mortz, Chief Operating Officer, Alphalyse, Denmark. "We
have been extremely satisfied with Ludesi because their service provides us
with the most accurate image analysis results we have seen to date. Also
very important, the service has a very fast turnaround time and eliminates
a significant amount of time and manual labor we used to spend using
analysis software."
"The Ludesi Image Analysis Service is the only solution that enables
researchers to quickly and easily share their 2D gel image analysis
experiments and project results with any number of colleagues around the
world, and without any added cost," said Ola Forsstrom-Olsson, founder and
CEO of Ludesi Corporation. "Many of our customers are leading global
research organizations and pharmaceutical companies, and they specifically
requested that we add this sharing capability of analyzed images and
results in order to facilitate improved collaboration with scientists both
internal and external to their organizations."
Key Sharing Features of REDFIN 2.0

collaborate on them with colleagues worldwide, for free.
-- Experiments can easily be shared or un-shared by clicking on a button.
-- Email Invitations for Sharing: All sharing actions, such as sharing an
experiment with someone, or removing a share, are accompanied by a
confirmation email.
