WESTBROOK, Maine, Nov. 5 KardexRemstar-renamed
WESTBROOK, Maine, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kardex AG, the parent company of Kardex Remstar International, having acquired Kardex Systems, Inc. of Marietta, Ohio at the beginning of 2009, has now fully merged their operations together, renaming the new organization KardexRemstar, Inc.
The merger has integrated the sales and marketing groups creating a focused presence in North America under the KardexRemstar brand name.
The new KardexRemstar headquarters is located in Westbrook, Maine with regional offices in California, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas. Both operations have been part of the North American market for over 35 years.
The organization's combined American production group is now located in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Over four million dollars have been invested in 2009 to assure the facility operates as a state-of-the-art manufacturing location that will help expand KardexRemstar growth initiatives over the next few years.
