Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort in the Rivera Maya, México receives three awards at this year’s World Travel Awards including Mexico and Central America’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort and Leading Green Hotel.

Riviera Maya, México (PRWEB) November 15, 2009 -- Each year, the World Travel Awards honor distinguished hotels, resorts, transportation services and tourism operators the world over. This year was no different and the host resort of the North and Central America Awards ceremony took home a few coveted awards. Hacienda Tres Ríos is a new eco-luxury resort that opened up last November in the Riviera Maya, México. The Resort hosted the World Travel Awards this September and took home three great awards.

The first award received was for México and Central America’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort. Some of the benefits of this All-Inclusive resort include things like a full service concierge, internet access, and a modern fitness suite. And only the guests of the resort get to experience the Tres Ríos Nature Park with its many activities and tours or the Exit Lounge that offers a farewell haven for after checkout. Hacienda Tres Ríos also features a wide range of restaurants and bars that are included and a VIP and adult-only areas at the pool.

México and Central America’s Leading Green Resort was the next category that Hacienda Tres Ríos was honored for. When you talk about Sustainable Tourism, there’s much to consider. But the vision at Hacienda Tres Ríos started from the planning stage.

Two years prior to beginning construction, a survey and extensive research of the ecosystem was undergone to provide a basis for this project. Not only did the construction include design around and with the ecosystem, but the area’s natural resources were also considered. The time and effort Tres Ríos has invested in equipment, environmental management and infrastructure positions them as a model for sustainable tourism development as recognized by the Mexican government in 2006.

The final award given to the resort was the great honor of México’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort. A well deserved accolade for such a unique resort that has taken the beauty of the land, cultured it and developed it with great care to share with others.

If you are planning a visit to México and would like to experience this unique award winning resort, visit Hacienda Tres Ríos. This Thanksgiving, treat the family to a unique holiday. Tres Ríos is offering a four-night package with a junior suite, round trip airport private transfers, a fruit basket and welcome bottle of wine. Along with the package, you’ll also get Thanksgiving dinner and 10% off all spa treatments. Relax and indulge yourself with this great package for $1,068 USD per adult based on double occupancy.

This unique resort touts itself as where three rivers meet the sea and where México’s past joins it’s present. A place where you can truly experience México’s nature and culture together.
