LAKE BLUFF, Ill., Nov. 4 IL-CardAnalysisSol.

LAKE BLUFF, Ill., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Credit Unions are invited to become part of a nationwide movement against unfair bank-card practices by registering credit unions and their card programs for free on a new consumer website. We are facilitating the registry as an independent advocacy effort dedicated to pointing consumers to credit unions. Additionally, the site will offer a ranking system to identify credit unions with the best card programs as assessed by Card Analysis Solutions. This is a great opportunity for credit unions to gain exposure and connect with consumers. In order to qualify for the registry, credit unions must fill out an online registration form. All credit unions are eligible to be listed on this registry regardless if the rates are fixed or variable. There is no fee to the credit union to be listed on this registry.

The consumer site, which goes live on December 1, 2009, will provide visitors with an easy method to locate credit union card programs that have been approved through the registry effort.

Ondine Irving, founder of Card Analysis Solutions, is the driving force in qualifying the credit unions and taking the guess work out for consumers seeking fair credit cards. Her thought leadership and advocacy has resulted in national attention from finance guru, Suze Orman, with a feature on her popular website which generates approximately 500,000 hits a month.

"There is intense interest from consumers in finding credit cards and providers that don't charge ridiculous charges and rates. I'm committed to connecting qualified credit union card programs with consumers -- and help take the sting out of the current credit climate we're all experiencing," Irving states.

For more information, and to apply to be included in the registry, visit www.cardanalysissolutions.org.
