Centennial Woods announced today that the
newest Bass Pro Shops store features the company's reclaimed snowfence wood
products. The 145,000 square foot Outdoor World, located in Altoona, Iowa,
is the fifth Bass Pro Shops property to feature Wyoming snowfence. It was
the only new store built in 2009 by the retail giant.
"We continue to be amazed by the rustic atmosphere that the Bass Pro Shops
fabrication shop accomplishes with our reclaimed products," said Centennial
Woods product manager Grant Porder. "For those attempting to capture that
special rustic feel in their projects, they'd do well to look at the design
and execution in the Bass Pro Shops stores."
Centennial Woods reclaims and processes snowfence materials into exterior
products like siding and soffit and interior products like flooring,
ceiling treatments, trim and wainscoting. The unique wood is also
increasingly used for furniture, doors, window trim, cabinets and specialty
fixture applications. The wood comes in five basic natural color schemes,
in 1x6, 2x6, and 2x8 inch dimensions and in lengths up to 16 feet.
