Atlas Medical Technologies of Florida LLC is not part of the acquisition but will remain a close business partner of Nationwide Imaging.
Recognizing the increasing demand for refurbished equipment--a result of the budget constraints many hospitals and imaging centers are facing today--Nationwide's Rob Manetta saw the value of getting bigger to better serve Nationwide's globe-spanning customer base. He began a search to identify other capable companies that like Nationwide, inspired customer confidence. The move by Nationwide adds even more warehouses on both the east and west coasts of the United States, in addition to expansion on their newly built, state-of-the-art facilities in Brick, NJ, which will be over 17,700 square feet after completion. Nationwide's acquisition adds a 25,000 square foot warehouse in California, totaling 42,700 square feet of warehouse space. This increase in space will allow Nationwide to more efficiently serve its clients throughout the U.S. and accommodate their overseas clients by bringing all crating, staging, refurbishing and storage services in house. With engineers strategically placed across the USA, the de-installation process becomes less expensive for overseas clients. With the addition of a fleet of brand new air ride trucks, quality assurance is guaranteed when moving equipment across the nation.
