Award-winning N-central(R) 6.5 Managed Services Platform to Support Microsoft's System Center Essentials 2007
OTTAWA, March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- N-able Technologies(R), the preferred supplier of remote monitoring and management software and business transformation services for managed service providers (MSPs), today announced a strategic technology and marketing agreement with Microsoft Corp. focused on its System Center Essentials 2007 product line.
The new agreement was established to make it easier for Microsoft Partners to integrate N-able's award-winning N-central(R) 6.5 managed services platform with Microsoft's System Center Essentials 2007, a set of proactive IT systems management software products and technologies designed for mid-sized businesses (up to 500 PCs and 30 servers).
"We are pleased to be working with N-able Technologies to deliver a richer user experience to our Microsoft System Center Essentials partners and customers who are also using N-central 6.5," says JD Marymee, director of strategic alliances for Microsoft Corp. "The alignment of these two technologies will make it easier for our partners to monitor and manage their clients' IT environments with increased efficiency and bring a new level of service automation to System Center Essentials."
"As the move to managed services continues to gain traction worldwide and IT services automation becomes a must-have for channel partners, having the ability to scale your remote management capabilities across a wide variety of technologies and devices will be a core differentiator for our partners," says Gavin Garbutt, president and CEO, N-able Technologies. "The combined IT services automation and remote management capabilities found within N-central 6.5 and System Center Essentials will take interoperability to a new level of software excellence and bring into play a new ecosystem for today's MSPs. We are pleased to partner with Microsoft and work together to drive more managed services software innovation into the IT channel."
As part of the agreement, N-able Technologies and Microsoft will work jointly to facilitate the integration of N-central 6.5 and System Center Essentials 2007, as well as to provide the N-able partner community with technical and sales education resources to build awareness of the offerings and aid in their promotion to customers.
