DALLAS - (Business Wire) A nine-story office tower strategically located in the Preston Center area of Dallas will become the new Texas headquarters for Mutual of Omaha Bank, Texas Market President Robert Strong announced.

Mutual of Omaha Bank has leased 14,000 square feet on the lobby level of the building, located at 5950 Sherry Lane. The Class “A” office space offers immediate access to downtown, North Dallas, Love Field and DFW International Airport. Plans call for Mutual of Omaha Bank to occupy the space in December 2009.

“Our new Texas headquarters will serve as a focal point for our expansion in this high growth area,” said Robert Strong, President of Mutual of Omaha Bank’s Texas market. “North Dallas is a vibrant community where some of the area’s leading companies are located, making it an ideal location for our Texas headquarters as well as our commercial banking operation.”

Greg Trout, President of the Office/Industrial division at Henry S. Miller, an independent commercial real estate services firm, represented Mutual of Omaha Bank in the transaction.

Mutual of Omaha Bank is a full-service bank providing financial solutions to individuals and businesses across the United States. With more than $3.5 billion in assets, Mutual of Omaha Bank has full-service locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada and Texas, and operates loan production offices in Florida, Iowa and Kansas. It is a subsidiary of Mutual of Omaha, a 100-year-old insurance and financial services company with more than $22 billion in total assets and high ratings from leading ratings agencies.
