The newly appointed Mr. Griffith will be charged with assisting IBBS’ more than 230 operator customers take advantage of what industry analysts predict is a $35 billion market in the U.S., as well as introducing these services to other broadband providers worldwide. Mr. Griffith brings fourteen years of strategy and business development experience to IBBS, with a focus on driving new market entry and expansion. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President and General Manager at ChoicePoint (acquired by LexisNexis), leading the international expansion of a $150 mil division. Also while at ChoicePoint, Mr. Griffith led the Company’s overall corporate and business unit strategic development.
Launched in August 2009, IBBS’ Commercial Services offering is a direct response to the current and future demand from Independent and Multi-service operators (MSO) for tools to serve the global SMB marketplace. Operators and broadband service providers that utilize IBBS’ Commercial Services will have access to business-class support including premium levels of network monitoring and customer care. They will also be able to sell a full suite of integrated business solutions – with support from IBBS – which include hosted, value-added applications, such as email and collaboration with mobile synch, file storage and backup, managed firewall and VPN, and digital voice.
Mr. Griffith’s background also includes six years dedicated to the telecommunications and digital media markets, including as a Manager with Deloitte Consulting. He holds a BBA from Millsaps College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
