MILWAUKEE, March 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Midwest Air Group, parent company of Midwest Airlines, today announced the appointment of David Sislowski as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. He will join the Milwaukee-based company March 17.
Sislowski will be responsible for corporate legal matters, work with outside counsel as needed, and serve as corporate secretary. He replaces Carol N. Skornicka, who retired in February.

A career legal professional, Sislowski most recently was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Frontier Airlines in Denver. Prior to joining Frontier in 2002, he served as general counsel and in related positions for Alexander Capital Corporation, Castle Rock, Colo.; Capital Associates International, Inc., Englewood, Colo.; and MetLife Capital Corporation, Bellevue, Wash. Early in his career he was an associate attorney for Davis Wright Tremain, also in Bellevue, and Bogle & Gates, Seattle.
Sislowski earned a doctorate of law degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle. He holds a bachelor's degree in history, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland.
