HARLEYSVILLE, Pa., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raymond J. De Hont,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE: MPR),
announced today that the Company's Strobic Air subsidiary has received an
order in excess of $600,000 from a premier university in the Central United
States. The order is expected to ship before the end of the Company's current
fiscal year ending January 31, 2009.

For this project, Strobic Air will supply laboratory fume hood exhaust
systems utilizing a total of eight Tri-Stack(TM) fans on custom energy
recovery plenums. Strobic Air was awarded this contract based on their best-
in-class reputation for supplying low profile exhaust systems that are
specifically designed to handle the complex issues of laboratory exhaust.
