PHOENIX, July 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mesa Air Group, Inc.
(Nasdaq: MESA) reported its preliminary traffic figures for June 2008.
Year-over-year available seat miles decreased 12.69% in June 2008 to
669,283,000 compared to 766,574,000 in June 2007. Revenue passenger miles
decreased 15.28% from 621,100,000 in 2007 to 526,170,000 in 2008. Passenger
enplanements decreased 23.05% from 1,466,185 in June 2007 to 1,128,237 in June
2008. Year-over-year load factor for the month of June was 78.62% in 2008
compared to 81.02% in 2007. Mesa's on-time performance for June was 67.6%.

go!'s preliminary traffic figures for June 2008 indicate that its
operations generated 17.9 million available seat miles, 12.3 million revenue
passenger miles and 86,021 passengers, compared with 63,965 in June 2007.
Load factor for June 2008 was 68.65%, compared to 72.07% for the same period
in 2007. Hawai'i's low fare airline recorded an on-time performance rate of
84%.

air traffic control issues significantly impacting our on time performance,"

Mesa currently operates 180 aircraft with over 800 daily system departures
to 124 cities, 38 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, the Bahamas and
Mexico. Mesa operates as Delta Connection, US Airways Express and United
Express under contractual agreements with Delta Air Lines, US Airways and
United Airlines, respectively, and independently as Mesa Airlines and go!. In
June 2006 Mesa launched inter-island Hawaiian service as go! This operation
links Honolulu to the neighbor island airports of Hilo, Kahului, Kona and
