MERIDA, MEXICO -- 11/06/09 --
The Honourable Jim Prentice, Canada's Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will hold a media teleconference from Merida, Mexico, on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on wilderness protection between Canada, the United States of America and Mexico. The Minister is in Merida to deliver a keynote address at the 9th World Wilderness Congress (Wild 9).
