TORONTO, Sept. 29 MAV-US-HealthCare-sys
TORONTO, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ - A new report comparing the health care systems of the United States and Canada will be released by independent research organization the Fraser Institute on Tuesday, September 30, at 6am (Eastern).
The peer-reviewed study, The Hidden Costs of Single Payer Health Insurance: A Comparison of the United States and Canada, compares some of the key aspects of the health care systems in both the United States and Canada, including the supply of medical resources, access to technology, and effective health insurance coverage.
The report concludes that Canada's government monopoly, single-payer health care system is possibly the worst way to achieve universal health insurance coverage and Americans should avoid adopting a similar system.
A news release with additional information will be issued via PR Newswire on Tuesday, September 30.
