WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Media & Communications Strategies, LLC announced this week that it has won the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) prestigious Silver Inkwell Award for its "Saving American Manufacturing" submission. The firm won the award in the Communication Plans and Campaigns -- Issue or Advocacy category.

Judges for the award based their decision on the communications plan's strategic focus, clear specification of objectives, and appropriate attention to measuring results. They also looked for evidence of audience and situational understanding, appropriateness of messages, solid tactical design, and plan implementation. The judges additionally assessed creativity, technical expertise, and overall effectiveness of content.

The IABC is recognized as the professional association of choice for communicators who aspire to excel in their chosen fields.
