CHICAGO - (Business Wire) The board of directors of the McCormick Tribune Foundation voted today to change the organization
’s name to the McCormick Foundation. The name change clarifies that the Foundation no longer holds an ownership position in Tribune Company. The McCormick Foundation remains an independent entity focused on improving the nation
’s civic health and supporting programs that benefit our free, democratic society.
In line with its mission, the Foundation’s communities program will continue to work with individual business units of Tribune Company and with other organizations to encourage important fundraising and philanthropic activities in markets across the nation.
