SANTA ROSA, Calif., June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Majestic Fines Wines, the
sales organization for Jackson Family Wines, has filled twelve newly created
positions to support the expansion of its super-premium and luxury wine sales.
"The United States is poised to become the leading wine consuming country
in the world," says Bill O'Connor, Vice President/National Sales Manager.
"Despite the current economic slowdown, we at Majestic Fine Wines are
expanding our sales efforts to meet the expected long-term consumer demand for
fine wines nationwide."
Indeed, sales figures for some of the Majestic Fine Wines portfolio have
seen a substantial surge over the last 120 days of business, including strong
growth of its flagship brands La Crema and Kendall-Jackson. In another bright
spot, Murphy-Goode has posted significant gains due in part to a recent
re-launch of the brand.
Among the newly created positions: Peter Repole, formerly an Estates
Education Manager, has been promoted to Southeast Division Vice President,
based in Miami. Taking over the new position of Texas State Sales Manager is
Ashley Flautt, who is based in Dallas. Brent Bolding, based in Seattle, steps
into the new role of Northwest Region Manager. He is responsible for sales in
Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. Billy Connely is the new Nevada State
Sales Manager based in Las Vegas. Kevin Kennedy takes on duties in the newly
created position of New York State Sales Manager. Brenda Wojcik brings her
extensive supplier background to the new position of Illinois State Sales
Manager. Jimmy Clement is the new Florida State Sales Manager.
Additional new positions include: Sonia Winters is the Region Manager for

Manager; John Vidal is the new Southern California Area Manager. Jayne Waters

Lastly, Kim Wallace is the new Sales Educator/Trainer for the Gulf and
Southeast Divisions and has completed her third-level Master Sommelier
program. Kendall-Jackson and Jackson Family Wines were both built in the
on-premise arena. After nearly three decades, Majestic Fine Wines continues
to reinforce a direct link to wine knowledge by expanding its sales
educational efforts throughout the United States.
