Los Angeles County Marijuana Dispensary to Begin Food Drive to Feed the Poor; Dispensary Will Give Away Free Gram to Patients Who Donate Food for the Drive

"Our goal is simple," said Ryan Evans, President of Cornerstone. "Our goal is to feed anyone who is hungry," said Evans. "This is not a publicity stunt, nor are we concerned with how this may impact our image. We have designed the food drive to be an ongoing project that will never end simply because the holidays have ended," said Evans. "Too many projects such as these end with holidays and so we are determined to keep it going forever."

To help initiate this new campaign and food drive, the Long Beach marijuana dispensary will be giving away a free gram to the first 25 patients who donate a can of food. In addition, each person who donates a can of food will receive a raffle ticket and will be entered into a raffle (drawing) to be held at the end of this month for a brand new laptop computer. Therefore, by simply donating a can of food, a patient can then become eligible to win a laptop computer for a drawing held on Saturday, November 28th.
